This month is a little late because this is a bigger book review. This week we are just looking at Rachel Green Miller’s book Beyond Authority and Submission. I know it is a sensitive topic, so I am a little late with it. But hopefully you find the review informative, helpful, or at least not a waste of time.
Three books in this weeks podcast. One old book on culture, but still worth a look. A book that dives into the digital media world and has some lessons for us. And one book on life in Geneva during the Reformation. Listen then go read.
On today’s episode we take a look at a new release “In Search of the Common Good” by Jake Meador and the latest season of 13 Reasons Why.
I know it is late, but I thought I had set it up to go. So here is the August book review, and maybe an article as well. I hope you enjoy.
Summer is a great time to read and to get through some book back logs. This episodes has a review of Broken Pieces and the God Who Mends Them by Simonetta Carr, a Zwingli bio, and The First Seven Ecumenical Councils by Davis.
Since we are beginning to harvest the problems of this fad, we review Francis Chan’s “Crazy Love”, Idelman’s “Not a Fan”, and David Platt’s “Radical”. Take a listen.
Welcome to a new monthly podcast where we go through some books and give them an overview, review, recommendations, or whatever comes to mind! Join us for these first three books.
